Handloggers, our basic business philosophy is to provide high quality
wood products at competitive prices, giving our customers the maximum
value for their money. Some might think that the success of our
company rests on our ability to sell products. While this is obviously
important, the real success of our company is based on our ability
to source quality products. We have over 26 years of experience
building relationships with domestic and foreign wood suppliers
representing mills around the world, giving us access to diverse
products of the highest quality.
Handloggers is divided into three basic divisions: lumber/plywood,
flooring and decking. The lumber products we sell are graded either
FAS (First and Seconds) or Select and Better; the top grades available
as defined by the National Hardwood Lumber Association. The plywoods
we offer are marine grade. This means the core of the plywood
has no voids and is laminated with “water/boil-proof”
glue.
Our flooring division offers the widest diversity of products representing
a broad range of species, grades and specifications. We distribute
both unfinished and prefinished flooring products for a number
of major flooring manufacturers. We also work with flooring mills
capable of producing floors with custom specifications. Our sales
staff works very hard to provide a high level of customer service
when we quote flooring products, giving our customers as many
options as possible.
The decking division
is perhaps the easiest to introduce. After promoting various woods
over the last 10 years, we have settled on Ipe as the wood of
choice for decking. The long-lasting beauty of this durable wood,
along with its stability in the outdoor environment makes it our
first choice.
