CARIBBEAN HEART PINE

Caribbean Heart Pine

Handloggers’ Opinion
One of the more popular pine floors, heart pine ranges in color from orange/brown heartwood to yellowish sap. Most of the orders we get for heart pine are for a very wide plank floor for use in large spaces. The select grade is clear of large knots so this floor is more formal in appearance than a knotty pine floor.
Appearance

Looks very much like domestic heart pine, but has a somewhat softer look in grain.
Hardness/Janka: not available , but is similar in hardness to heart pine (Janka 870)
Grades available: select grade has very occasional small knots.
